US Warns Mexico to Stop Backpedaling Energy Reforms

January 15, 2021

US Secretary of State sent a letter to Mexico Officials articulating how their current position on energy policies are undermining trust and confidence in US investments and their commitment to the USMCA. It appears that the United States has grown weary of Mexico’s policies to pullback energy deregulation, and this letter highlights those concerns.
